SalixArts is a business grown from a passion. Debbie Hall's passion for willow!
In 1995 Debbie bought two very large and lovely willow plant supports. Installing them in her garden she was struck with the thought 'I bet I could do that' - and the passion was born!
Many years later SalixArts still has Debbie (and her passion) at its core, but it has expanded to include her husband Matt (a dab hand at knots, and a veteran workshop assistant and cook), daughter Polly (workshop chef, chief cake maker and website assistant), daughter Annie (willow sorter and bundler), and latest addition, Jacob Lambert (who has been assisting with the larger living willow constructions and living willow workshops).
