From animals to abstract shapes (and everything between !)
Sunday May 20th (and Saturday May 19th) 2012, 10am-5pm, £70
- book for both days for an ambitious project (person etc.) or just one for something smaller (eg. goose / heron etc.) There is a £10 discount for booking both days (£130)
Using random weave or more traditional basketmaking techniques, make a sculpture of any shape or size from locally grown organic willow. This workshop is suitable for all abilities, so whether you are a complete beginner or seasoned willow worker there will be something for you. We will guide you through the whole process from successfully translating your ideas from paper to 3D, to choosing and using the best methods for your project.
This spring we will be exclusively using local, organically grown, hand-harvested willow in a selection of beautiful colours.
A delicious vegetarian lunch, refreshments and all materials are included in the price of £70.
